Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian player now playing for Serie A club Napoli, is the target of a big pay offer from Chelsea this summer.
The 24-year-old is allegedly attracting interest from Manchester United as well.
Football London reports that the Blues are willing to pay Osimhen twice his present wage at Napoli in order to sign him before Manchester United.
Both teams are scrambling to improve their attack this summer.
This season, Chelsea in particular has had difficulty scoring goals.
Osimhen has made headlines this year as a result of his outstanding performances for Napoli.
In 21 league games with the Partenopei, he has 19 goals scored.
