As Paris Saint-Germain was ousted from the Champions League this week, coach Christophe Galtier stated that he doesn’t need to “persuade” Kylian Mbappe to stay at the club.
After the game, Mbappe declined to speak with the media about his plans following this one.
The World Cup champion of 2018 acknowledged that while Bayern was a team “designed to win the Champions League,” PSG had achieved their “full” potential.
“I do not have to try to convince Kylian [to stay].
“Kylian is a PSG player and he shows it in every game.
“He has a great determination to succeed and to perform well in order to help bring the club up to as high a level as possible,” Galtier said during his press conference on Friday.
