According to reports, Barcelona may decide to sell three important players to raise money to re-sign Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
In order to raise money to accommodate their legend, Messi, Barcelona is reportedly willing to get players like Franck Kessie, Raphinha, and Andreas Christensen off the books.
Messi moved to PSG from his childhood club Barcelona in August 2021.
Since then, though, a return to Camp Nou has been rumored, and now that his deal with PSG is scheduled to expire in June, questions about his future have once again surfaced.
In response to a question from a fan in a recent video that went popular on social media, Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently announced Messi’s return to the team.
Messi’s return won’t be easy to secure, though, given Barcelona’s current financial limitations, as the Blaugrana will need to reduce their salary bill first by offloading players like Kessie, Raphinha, and Christensen, according to the source.
