Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, criticized a performer of Wizkid’s song “Reckless.”
The unnamed man tried out for the current season of “Nigeria Idol.”
After Progress Chukwuyem won the competition the previous year, the judges Dbanj, Simi, and Obi Asika returned to the program last month.
One of the contestants played Wizkid’s well-known hit song, Reckless, during the audition, which was broadcast on Africa Magic on Sunday.
The judges were amused by his act and couldn’t stop laughing.
Dbanj responded by calling the performance a failure and rejecting him.
He said, “You are not just a star, you are a big disaster.”
