Cesc Fabregas, a former midfielder for Barcelona, Arsenal, and Chelsea, has declared his retirement from the game.
The former midfielder’s final Serie B team was Como.
During his 20 years of professional football participation, the former Spain international won significant championships with Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
He won two FA Cups, two Premier League championships, and one LaLiga championship.
With Spain, Fabregas also captured the World Cup and European Championship titles.
In a statement, the 36-year-old said: “It is with great sadness that the time has come for me to hang up my playing boots.
“From lifting the World Cup, the Euros, to winning everything in England and Spain and nearly all the European trophies, it has been a journey that I’ll never forget.
“After 20 incredible years full of sacrifice, dedication and joy, it’s time to say thank you and goodbye to the beautiful game.”
