Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma, has threatened to receive a 10-match suspension for being open about their Europa League loss to Sevilla.
Mourinho lost the contest, his first defeat in a European championship game.
After the championship game, Mourinho expressed his annoyance with the official, claiming that Anthony Taylor “seemed Spanish.”
Officials of the Europa League were accosted by the former manager of Chelsea and Manchester United, who referred to them as “f***ing crooks” in the stadium parking lot.
Despite calls for a heavier penalty, Mourinho received a four-match suspension for his behavior.
“Winning the Europa League with Manchester United was a normal feeling for me,” Mourinho said to Sky.
However, if I speak my mind during Roma-Sevilla, I will be suspended for 10 games.
