Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, believes Chelsea will soon win the Premier League.
Antonio Conte’s Blues last took home the trophy in 2014.
After finishing in 12th place the previous season, Chelsea fired managers Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter and replaced them with Frank Lampard for the remainder of the campaign.
However, Guardiola has insisted that the players and management be given more time to succeed at the team.
“Chelsea is improving; all managers require time.”
Guardiola said at a news conference on Friday, “New club, new players, but sooner or later they will be a contender as the qualities in all the departments are there.”
