Kevin de Bruyne, a midfielder for Belgium, has ruled out retiring from the game after the Euro 2024 competition in Germany.
De Bruyne, who has played for Belgium for eleven years, stated he is unsure if he will leave the national team.
The Manchester City player has so far been instrumental in Belgium’s success at Euro 2024, helping them to four points from two games.
De Bruyne told the reporters, “I haven’t really thought about whether this is the end of my international career” (via Mirror).
“I dislike considering my future or when I will retire. The date of my completion is still up in the air.
“I have been playing in this team for ten years,” he continued.
“I don’t like thinking about when I am retiring or my future. I have not decided when I’m going to finish.”
He added: “I have been playing in this team for ten years and I have a lot of knowledge to pass on to the younger players but honestly, I have not decided when I am going to finish.”
