Afrobeats musician Davido has received praise from businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, for not “discarding” his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
The businessman, who was born in Imo, claimed that Davido’s decision to wed there has made the state proud.
In a video taken during Davido’s most recent visit to his home, Chief Priest made this claim.
He was heard saying, “Thank you for not discarding my sister [Chioma],” in the video. You’re a decent dude. God will continue to bless you.
The socialite captioned the photo on Instagram, saying, “My inlaw Davido oga adiri gi na mma.” Your refusal to disappoint our kid has made my Imo very proud.
“Imo and Osun have become one. Maka ogo mmadu bukwa nwanne ya. Ogechi kacha ma. The richest, thanks for stopping by. [Hash tag] Chivido2024.”
A few days ago, Davido declared that he and Chioma would wed in Lagos on June 25.
The unveiling of the afrobeats artist’s pre-wedding images with Chioma on Sunday night sent social media into a frenzy.
