The French boyfriend of American pop artist Lady Gaga, Michael Polansky, has confirmed the couple’s engagement.
Over the weekend at the Paris Olympics, the 38-year-old singer confessed to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal that she is engaged to the 46-year-old guy.
On Sunday, July 28, Attal uploaded a little video of the artist introducing herself and her partner to TikTok.
She shocked the audience by presenting Polansky and saying, “This is my fiancé.”
When the couple was pictured together at a Las Vegas New Year’s Eve party in 2019, romance rumors about them initially surfaced.
A few months later, they confirmed their romance on Instagram.
According to the Daily Mail, they supposedly split up in early 2023 but seemed to get back together by August of the same year.
Gaga turned 38 this year, and a bunch of friends joined her at Giorgio Baldi in California to celebrate.
Despite not being French, Gaga said during her performance at the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris that she has “always felt a very special connection with French people and singing French music.”
