Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, has sent a message of congratulations to Ghana on the occasion of the country’s 65th anniversary of independence.
“I wish you good health and every success, as well as happiness and prosperity to all your compatriots,” he wrote in a message to President Akufo-Addo.
“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the Republic of Ghana’s National Holiday – Independence Day.”
He stated that Ghana and Russia’s relationship remains cordial. President Putin also urged the continuation of positive bilateral dialogue and partnership.
This, he claims, will serve “our people’s interests while also contributing to the peace and security of the African continent.”
Putin wishes Ghana a happy 65th anniversary of independence.
