Wayoosi made a shocking revelation and expressed regret during a chit-chat on the ‘Hammer Time’ entertainment program on the dwindling Ghanaian movie industry, telling host Hammer Nti that he asks God for forgiveness on a daily basis for having affairs with women who wanted movie roles.
He stated that it was an act that he deeply regrets and would not repeat if given the chance to correct his mistakes.
He went on to say that the Ghanaian film industry has failed to thrive because actors are not fairly compensated, citing the fact that he was paid between GHC10 and GHC50 for several roles he played, including his well-known performance in the film “Ma triki wo.”
