Barcelona has taken a 4-0 lead over Real Madrid in their high-stakes El Clasico clash, thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
La Blaugrana are on track to snap a five-game La Liga losing streak against Los Blancos in the Spanish capital with their highest El Clasico score line since 2018.
Aubameyang opened the scoring for the visitors on the half-hour mark, nodding home Ousmane Dembele’s superb cross before the Frenchman’s corner was powered home by Ronald Araujo.
Despite a 2-0 lead at the break, Barcelona has stepped up a gear in the second half, with Aubameyang turning provider to set up Ferran Torres for a third.
That goal effectively ended any hope of a comeback from the home side, as Aubameyang made it four minutes before the hour mark with an incredible chip.
Three points in Madrid puts Barcelona in third place in the table, with a game in hand on their rivals.
