Deji Adeyanju, an activist and the convener of the civil society organization Concerned Nigerians, claims that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is merely running for the sake of entertainment.
Following Osinbajo’s announcement on Monday that he would run for president in the 2023 general election, Adeyanju remarked on his Facebook page that the VP was unpopular inside the APC.
“Osinbajo is running for entertainment purposes,” Adeyanju tweeted. Even within the APC, he is despised. According to Buhari’s confidants, he planned for the president’s death while he was ailing. They claim to have a security tape of him firmly stating that Buhari would die and that he was already speaking with potential vice presidents.
Those working against him within the APC say he’s very tribalistic, and that all of the people he appointed as Acting President came from a specific region and religion. The idea that Osinbajo is a traitor and untrustworthy is damaging to him, as Tinubu’s supporters are also claiming.”
In another article, he said that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, had a greater chance in the presidential election than the Vice President.
Though I dislike Tinubu and will never like him, he has a better chance of being the APC’s presidential candidate than Osinbajo. Osinbajo is merely running for the sake of entertainment.
“He is regarded as a traitor. He has ruined the Nigerian economy as the leader of Buhari’s economic team. He also lacks the confidence to confront power with the truth. He did nothing to support the judiciary when they were insulted.
They used an exparte injunction to remove a Nigerian Chief Justice, harassed judges, disregarded court orders, violated human rights, and killed demonstrators while he remained silent. “I stand for Igbo presidency,” Adeyanju wrote on Facebook.
