Uchenna Daniels, a 30-year-old male, has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command for the kidnapping of a girl named Hannatu Kabri.
Daniels allegedly kidnapped the victim in Kaduna and fled to Lagos, where he was apprehended.
During a parade at the command headquarters in Ikeja, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the culprit was traced down and detained on Allen Avenue in Ikeja.
“The suspect said that the victim’s boyfriend, Ahmed, and his girlfriend, Biliya, arranged the kidnapping with him and collected a ransom of N2 million from the victim’s parents in Kaduna through a Bureau de Change before she was freed on March 28, 2022.”
