In terms of the NPP primaries, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stands out among his opponents, however Alan Kyeremanten is a close second.
Former President John Mahama continues to expand his lead as the party’s flag-bearer on the other side of the divide.
While the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and floating voters were adamant about the country’s direction, wrong way 84 percent and 69 percent respectively, NPP voters were split in half, 47 percent to 47 percent for right and wrong path.
In addition, the president’s job approval rating has dropped from 34% in January 2022 to 27% in April 2022, according to the poll.
67 percent of voters disapprove of the president’s job performance, resulting in a negative net approval rating of 40%.
Voters said they will think about the economy, jobs, and education before voting for a candidate in 2021.
They were responsible for 20.88 percent, 19.28 percent, and 17.24 percent of the economic issues brought up, respectively.
Meanwhile, 46.62 percent of Ghanaians want President John Dramani Mahama to return.

Dynamic sampling
For the objective of establishing a polling trend, 34 constituencies that were previously selected under a suitable sample were repeated.
Random sampling was used to choose an additional 34 constituencies.
According to a recent poll conducted by Global Info Analytics, former President John Dramani Mahama remains the favourite presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.
Only 30% of respondents favored Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the NPP’s presidential candidate, despite the fact that 53% of respondents preferred John Mahama to return.
In January 2022, the Ghanaian polling company published a research that showed Bawumia and Mahama with 38 and 43 percent support, respectively.
This comes after a similar poll by the Economist Intelligence Unit, EIU, predicted that the NDC would win, but that John Dramani Mahama would have to step down as flagbearer.
As a result, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vote has dropped by eight percent.
Dr. Bawumia’s numbers have risen by 10 percentage points, while Mr. Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lost ground.
Prior to running the random simulation model to choose the constituencies, the previous constituencies surveyed in January were eliminated.
As a result, the remaining 241 constituencies have an equal probability of being chosen.
The voters’ registry from the 2020 Electoral Commission was used to assign samples.
Interviews were assigned based on the total number of registered voters in each constituency in relation to the 68 constituencies chosen.
For each seat, the interview location was chosen at random from three Electoral Areas within the constituency.
The poll included interviews with voters aged 16 and up.
