Bukola Saraki, the former President of the Senate, has officially welcomed musician Olubankole Wellington, better known by his stage as Banky W, to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Saraki, who is also a presidential candidate in the 2023 election, announced this on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Banky W to the #officialPDPNig alongside Jandor yesterday!” he wrote.
On April 2, Banky W confirmed his PDP membership and stated his ambition to run for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 general election.
