Lekan Osifeso, alias Lojay, an afro-fusion artist, says collaborating with American singer Chris Brown, whom he grew up watching on TV, is weird.
Brown was recently seen in a remix of Lojay’s hit song Monalisa.
“Having Chris Brown on my song is such a bizarre experience because he is someone I grew up watching on TV,” he remarked in an interview with Sunday Scoop. He is a source of inspiration for me. It gives me confidence that I’m on the right track when he expresses interest in being featured on the song.”
The artist also revealed that he did not expect Chris Brown to appear on the remix when he was writing the song. “I never envisaged hearing a Chris Brown verse on the song when I was writing it,” he stated. The finest thing is that he ‘killed’ it by taking his time. He changed the mood of the music. I’ve always wanted to collaborate with him.
This is a fantastic sensation.” “It is doing fantastic things in the globe,” Lojay said of the influence remixed music is having. Chris Brown’s inclusion in the remix will undoubtedly elevate it to new heights. Many people throughout the world have not yet heard of me, but they will be able to do so thanks to this remix. I believe it will be enormous. In addition, my fans should keep an eye out for new music from me. I’m all about music that people can rely on.”
