Nollywood actors Benedict Johnson and Zack Orji have publicly stated their support for a particular candidate in the impending 2023 presidential elections. In social media-circulating videos, both stars supported Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate. The Nollywood movie stars, however, faced harsh criticism from fans and following who were miffed by their decision.
The latest to do so is the duo of Zack Orji and Benedict Johnson, who have joined the growing list of artists who have endorsed a certain candidate for the general elections of 2023. In videos going viral online, reputable Nollywood actors can be seen supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
When he served as governor of Lagos, Tinubu, according to the Nollywood star, maintained an inclusive government and made sure to give each ethnic group a fair shot. If Tinubu ends up being the next president of Nigeria, he will adopt the same strategy for Orji.
