On Tuesday, afro-fusion sensation Burna Boy called Wizkid fans “delusional” and called them out for their support of a rival musician.
The African Giant, as he is known, accused Wizkid’s supporters of fabricating fake information about him at the time (Burna Boy).
Burna Boy wrote that Nigerians’ misery was caused by their lack of knowledge, which was when everything began.
“Whether you know it or not, All our misery emanates from our miseducation,” he wrote in a tweet on Tuesday. We are unaware of our own identities and capacities.
Burna Boy used a tweet in which Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka discussed Nigeria’s history to say that what he stated was in line with Soyinka’s ideas, yet Wizkid supporters were against him.
“I mentioned this same thing a while back, but Wizkid Delusional Twitter fc said I was lying,” Burna Boy tweeted while sharing an image of a man. Maybe Wizkid would have a smarter Twitter FC instead of moron like this if your genuine history was taught in your schools.
A fan then shared some purported screenshots from American rapper, Offset and Burna Boy’s ex, Stefflon Don, which were degrading to Burna Boy.
When asked if the instances were true, Burna Boy replied, “Nope, this was all doctored and done by Wizkid delusional Twitter fc.”
