Kim Kardashian claimed that her children were one of the factors in her decision to become a lawyer because, should they ever be jailed, they wouldn’t have “as good of a chance” as white children.
Kardashian gave an interview to Hillary and Chelsea Clinton on their Apple TV+ program “Gutsy,” where she discussed her decision to pursue a legal education. She claimed that choice involved her four children, who she has with Kanye West.
In reference to the “baby bar” law exam, which she failed three times before passing in December 2021, Kardashian remarked, “My kids were there every time I opened my results.”
“They witnessed me sobbing the most happy tears I’ve ever shed. That’s one of the reasons I put up such a struggle, in my opinion. Because if I were to get arrested or if you were to get arrested, my kids simply wouldn’t stand as much of a chance.
Or my children,” Chelsea answered. My white children.
In an interview with Janet Mock for Interview Magazine, Kim Kardashian stated that she talks to her children and her family’s children about race and is “extremely cognizant” of the fact that she is raising a multiracial Black girl.
Kardashian has previously discussed how her children have inspired her to pursue a law career.
She stated that one of the reasons she was pursuing law was because she was “parenting four Black kids in this society” in the March 2020 issue of CR Fashion Book.
According to Kardashian, the black and dark people are severely discriminated against by our system. “I want to make their lives as easy as I can,” you said.
