Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester City, may be replaced with Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford.
With just one point from its first seven games, Leicester City’s new season has gotten off to a terrible start.
On Saturday, Tottenham defeated Brendan Rodgers’ team 6-2 in the Premier League, casting further doubt on Rodgers’ position as manager of the team.
The Foxed are “admirers,” according to The Telegraph, of Frank as a possible Rodgers replacement.
They are doubtful, though, if the Brentford manager would be willing to leave the team.
If Leicester chose to fire Rodgers, he would be entitled to a £10 million payout under the terms of the new contract he signed in 2019 that runs through 2025.
After the defeat against Spurs, Rodgers was questioned about his status at Leicester and replied, “I don’t know, to be honest.” I will always respect their decision, no matter what it is.
