Brandon Williams, a defender for Manchester United, has admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo has given him and other Red Devils stars guidance.
Williams praised Ronaldo’s “huge influence” at Old Trafford, claiming that the Portugal captain converses with every player there.
The 22-year-old joined the Man United team this summer after spending the 2021–2022 season on loan at Norwich City.
The young English player is even content to train with someone like Cristiano Ronaldo even if he has yet to take the field for Erik ten Hag’s team in his first season encounter.
Williams told The Sportsman, “He’s been a tremendous impact since I came back. I wasn’t there when he initially came back.
He always converses with me. He makes sure he doesn’t forget anyone. He simply chats with everyone. He doesn’t act like “I’m the star here, so I’m not going to talk to everybody.”
He said, “He offers me guidance. He speaks with me. He and I are making a joke. It’s just everyday fare. When one of your coworkers plays football because, at the end of the day, he is one of my coworkers.
