Chris Sutton, a former Chelsea player, has informed Manchester United that they cannot defeat Newcastle United in Sunday’s Premier League matchup.
Manchester United has moved up to fifth place in the Premier League standings after winning five of their past six games.
On Sunday at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag’s team will play Newcastle, and Sutton does not see them retaining all three points.
“Manchester United won’t win this, in my opinion. The only uncertainty is whether Newcastle will return home with three or just one point, he told BBC Sport.
But I think Newcastle will win because they’ve been pressing their opponents and have started scoring goals — nine in their last two games.
Manchester United’s most recent victory in the Premier League came against Everton by a score of 2-1, while the Red Devils later defeated Omonia Nicosia by a score of 1-0 in the Europa League on Wednesday.
