Arsenal has been advised to give up on its chances of winning the Premier League championship this year.
Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool and England striker, stated there is “no chance” the Arsenal will win the championship.
This is in spite of Mikel Arteta’s team having a stellar season thus far, winning 10 of their first 11 games.
Only one point separates Arsenal at the top of the standings from last season’s champions, Manchester City, and Collymore believes the Gunners have no chance.
“I understand why some fans are excited to see what Arsenal can do, but there is no way the Gunners are going to go on an emphatic 38-game run similarly to what we saw happen between Liverpool and City last season – no chance,” he told CaughtOffside.
Last season, Arsenal came close to finishing in the top four and earning a spot in the Champions League before faltering just when it meant most.
