Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, gave an explanation of his choice about Mateo Kovacic during his team’s Premier League match against Manchester United on Saturday. The score was tied at one apiece.
Because of a persistent knee issue, Potter claimed he did not start Kovacic against Manchester United.
Marco Cucurella was replaced by the Croatian international during the Englishman’s first-half substitution.
