The announcement of Pique’s retirement from the sport on Thursday came as a complete shock to everyone. Pique was a former center-back for Manchester United.
On Saturday, the World Cup winner played his last game in a Barcelona jersey as they defeated Almeria 2-0 at Camp Nou.
