Danny Mills, a former England player, has pleaded with Manchester United to make Cristiano Ronaldo’s “life a misery” and to keep him until the end of his contract in 2023.
In response to Ronaldo’s conversation with Piers Morgan on talkSPORT, Mills made this statement. Ronaldo claimed he doesn’t respect manager Erik ten Hag and feels “betrayed” by United.
The 37-year-old allegedly conducted the interview to pressure an exit from Old Trafford, according to many fans and analysts.
However, Mills has counseled the Premier League team to obstruct a transfer and fine Ronaldo as much as they can.
He won’t likely play for Manchester United again, in my opinion. But if I were Manchester United, I might be inclined to just let him rot.
If you want to punish him, keep him at the football team and force him to do everything in your power to make his life miserable, said Mills.
