After completing the signing of goalkeeper Jack Butland on Friday, Manchester United has identified the second player to sign.
In a post on its website on Friday morning, Man United formally announced Butland’s hiring.
Butland spent the rest of the season on a six-month loan with the Red Devils.
After temporarily fixing their goalkeeping problem with the loan signing of Butland, Manchester United are now prioritizing the acquisition of a new forward for their manager Erik ten Hag, according to Relevo.
According to the source, Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid has emerged as Man United’s top attacking target, and negotiations are currently under place to recruit him on a temporary basis.
Man United is prepared to pay Atletico Madrid a loan fee of about £ 3.5 million, but this sum is still much less than the Spanish club’s £10 million asking price for the Portugal international.
