According to family sources, Lisa Marie Presley has passed away, TMZ has learnt.
Sources inform TMZ that Following a heart arrest on Thursday morning, Lisa was brought to a hospital in the Los Angeles region where she was later pronounced dead.
The news first surfaced on TMZ. After Lisa’s staff discovered her lifeless at her Calabasas home, she was sent to the hospital. She was given CPR by her ex-husband, Danny Keough, until paramedics came and took over; during this time, at least one dose of epinephrine was given.
Before she was sent to the hospital, it is said that EMTs were able to restore her pulse.
“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are stunned and grieved by the untimely death of their darling Lisa Marie,” a representative for Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, tells TMZ. They humbly appreciate everyone’s love, support, and prayers and ask for privacy during this extremely trying time.
As you are aware, Lisa Marie is Elvis and Priscilla’s child; she was born precisely nine months after her parents’ wedding.
After Elvis passed away in 1977 from a heart attack, she together with her grandfather and great-grandmother became joint heirs to his inheritance.
Following in her father’s musical footsteps, LMP released her debut album, “To Whom It May Concern,” in 2003. The album received a gold certification and peaked at number five on Billboard’s ranking for albums.
She also had a number of prominent marriages. She married Michael Jackson in 1994, shocking everyone less than a month after divorcing Danny, who was her first husband.
The pair exchanged a very public — and somewhat awkward — kiss on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards not long after their unexpected wedding.
After their marriage of less than two years with LMP, MJ married Nicolas Cage in 2002, but their union lasted only a few months before he filed for divorce.
She married her guitarist Michael Lockwood again in 2006, and the couple had two children together before she filed for divorce in 2016.
Lisa Marie and her mother just went to the Golden Globes to watch Austin Butler win for his performance as the King of Rock n’ Roll in the Baz Luhrmann film “Elvis.”
Riley Keough, an actress, and twin sisters Harper and Finley Lockwood are the three children left behind by Lisa Marie. Benjamin Keough, her son, committed suicide in 2020.
