The latest documentary series starring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to streaming juggernaut Netflix, is second-most popular on the service.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s bombshell documentary series, Harry and Meghan, was launched on December 8—one month before Prince Harry’s candid biography. In its six-episode run, they make a number of contentious and disparaging statements against the royal family.
Netflix reported a 7.7 million subscriber increase between October and December in its fourth quarter financial report. They introduced an ad-supported option for seven dollars (£5.65) per month around that time.
The claims made by Harry in the well-liked series have received no response from either Buckingham or Kensington Palace.
Apart from Netflix, Harry’s Spare book also experienced the quickest non-fiction book sales in the UK since 1998.
