Despite continuous rumors that she is dating Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers, Selena Gomez has stated that she is currently single and not dating.
The 30-year-old singer made it clear she is not dating anyone in a since-deleted Instagram photo of a foggy sky that had the face of an unnamed male gazing down while standing in front of a hill.
Gomez captioned the picturesque photo with “I prefer being alone too much” and the hashtag “#iamsingle.”
Her remark follows Us Weekly’s assertion that she and the 33-year-old singer from the hit song “Closer” weren’t “trying to disguise their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs.”
The courtship between the putative couple was described as “very low-key and easygoing.”

The insider continued, “Selena can scarcely keep her hands off of him,” and said they are “having a lot of fun together.”
Taggart broke up with Eve Jobs, the youngest daughter of Steve Jobs and a 24-year-old EDM artist. They allegedly began dating in the summer and broke up last month.
He dated Chantel Jeffries, Meredith Mickelson, Haley Rowe, and Chantel Mickelson before Eve.
