Yeni Kuti, a prominent figure in Nigerian media and the daughter of the late Afro-beat superstar Fela Kuti, has said that she does not view infidelity as a deal-breaker in a marriage or relationship.
The 61-year-old said during an interview with TVC that even if she found her spouse having an extramarital affair, she wouldn’t break things off with him. She claimed that her mother stayed in her marriage despite the fact that her late father, Fela Kuti, had 27 wives.
However, she added that learning that her boyfriend is having an extramarital affair is her deal-breaker.
Yeni Kuti, the first child of the late Afro-beat musician Fela, previously disclosed that she once struggled with smoking addiction.
She claimed that she made the decision to stop having desires after experiencing what she perceived to be life-threatening chest pain.
This was revealed by Kuti in an interview with The Sun, who claimed that the fear of not living to see her daughter Rolari graduate from college inspired her to give up her need for a fix.
