In Lagos State, deputy governor candidate Funke Akindele of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost her mother.
Olubunmi Akindele, the sister of the Nollywood actress, announced it on Tuesday.
Olubunmi said their mother passed away on Tuesday, though he did not say what caused her to pass away.
The Adebanjo and Akindele families announce the demise of their daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, DR. R B Adebanjo-Akindele, who occurred on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, with heavy hearts and complete surrender to God Almighty.
She begged for eternal peace for her kind soul.
Obsequies in her memory will be announced in due course, according to Olubunmi Akindele.
