Yaya Toure’s former agent, Dimitri Seluk, has refuted claims that Manchester City made unauthorized payments to the former Ivory Coast international.
This is in response to the latest accusations of financial violations against the Premier League winners, which he called “surprise.”
Since the 2009–10 season, Pep Guardiola’s Citizens have been accused of more than 100 financial rule violations.
Before Toure transferred from Barcelona to the Premier League team, that was the season.
Saluk assured the Guardian that his client’s salaries were paid in accordance with the law.
