Richards, who just had a two-week trial with Newcastle United, signed with the Blues.

On Saturday night, Fabrizio Romano revealed this in a tweet posted on his Twitter account.

He tweeted, “Official. Chelsea signed Jamaican talent Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards — born in 2005, wonderkid joining from Phoenix All-Stars.”
“Newcastle were close to signing him but Chelsea have now completed the deal, director Joe Shields was crucial in the negotiations.”
