Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 matches in Spain thanks to a late goal from Karim Benzema.
The La Liga champions won the match 6-2 on the road and went on to advance to the round of eight in the Champions League.
In response to a question on the Champions League favorites, Klopp said: “Certainly, based on their experience, but there are really strong clubs.
“Whoever wants to win the Champions League will have to beat Madrid and Manchester City”.
