According to ESPN, Manchester United is concerned about Bruno Fernandes’ health ahead of their key Premier League matchup with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
During the first half of their FA Cup semifinal matchup against Brighton on Sunday, Fernandes sustained an ankle injury.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of the Red Devils, thought about replacing the midfielder, but the player insisted on continuing.
Eventually, in the first period of extra time, he was substituted.
Despite not having a protective boot on, Fernandes was hobbling as he exited Wembley Stadium after the game.
Before deciding whether or not he can train with the team this week and play at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, medical personnel will evaluate him.
