She spent months attempting to resolve the issue before confiding in her father, who stood by his daughter and totally supported her choice to quit her marriage.
Prem Gupta, a Jharkhand resident, broke with tradition by hosting a Baraat to commemorate the return of his daughter.
Sakshi was greeted by a cheering group of people as she rolled her bags back home.
According to Gupta, Kumar and his family abused his daughter multiple times and even had her “thrown out” of her married house.

Despite the increasing persecution from her husband and in-laws, she continued to make an effort to keep the marriage together.
Upon discovering his daughter’s situation, her father backed her in her divorce proceedings and planned a lavish baraat to ceremoniously welcome her back home.
“We get our daughters married with pomp and show,” Gupta said on Facebook, posting a 10-minute video of his daughter’s welcome-back celebration. However, what happens if the partner and family turn out to be incorrect or act improperly? Daughters are extremely valuable, therefore we should treat them with the same respect and decency when they return home.
