Boomplay, a music streaming service, has released its year-end rankings featuring the songs and albums that Nigerians streamed the most in 2023.
This year, the most streamed project in Nigeria on the site was Davido’s fourth studio album, “Timeless.” Asake’s sophomore album, “Work Of Art,” and Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone,” came in second and third, respectively.
The number one song on the most streamed songs list is “Soso,” by Omah Lay. The final two songs in the top three are “Cough (Odo)” by Kizz Daniel and “Party No Dey Stop” by Adekunle Gold, featuring Zinoleesky.
Moses Bliss’s “Daddy Wey Dey Pamper” and “Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus” are the two most streamed gospel songs of the year. The last song on the list is “I Will Pray” by Ebuka Songs.
Ayra Starr was identified as the most streamed female artist on the site in the reviewed year, while Asake was declared the most streamed male artist.
