In two weeks, Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris.
Salah’s withdrawal occurred with the FA Cup final tied at 0-0.
After 90 minutes, Virgil Van Dijk is replaced, leaving Liverpool concerned about his fitness. Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s standout player, was pulled off after only 32 minutes of the FA Cup final with a suspected groin injury.

Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer this season, collided with the ball and was quickly approached by teammates Thiago Alcantara and Sadio Mane before being treated by a Liverpool medical team member.

Despite the fact that his teammates consoled him, he seemed dejected as he walked away to be replaced by Diogo Jota.

Liverpool will be concerned about the Egyptian’s fitness barely two weeks before the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Paris on May 28.

Salah has already been taken off early in a major final for Liverpool, having left the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kyiv before halftime in 2018 due to a dislocated shoulder sustained in a duel with Sergio Ramos.

Liverpool played Chelsea in the pinnacle match of English football, a rematch of this year’s Carabao Cup final. The game was deadlocked at 0-0 when he came on, and it remained deadlocked after 90 minutes in a rematch of the League Cup final from February.

To make matters worse for Liverpool, Virgil Van Dijk was taken off after 90 minutes and replaced by Joel Matip in extra time. Van Dijk has been substituted for the first time this season.

It’s unknown if the Dutchman was injured or if the decision was made as a precaution ahead of a crucial two weeks for Liverpool.

Left-back Andrew Robertson was also withdrawn after looking to suffer from a terrible case of cramp, adding to Liverpool’s arduous season, in which they would play in every game they possibly could.
